Thank you for your interest in celebrating your wedding at the Armenian Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator Singapore, Singapore’s oldest Church. The Church is a National Monument surrounded by beautiful natural gardens, and is located in the heart of Singapore within walking distance from the Registry of Marriages and next to many fine hotels.
We typically allow two weddings per day – a morning wedding from 9am to 1pm and an afternoon wedding from 2pm to 6pm. The seating capacity of the Church is about 100, while the lovely adjacent garden area can accommodate up to 200 guests for an outdoor reception.
The requested minimum donation for a four hour period is S$1300 (for 2010 weddings) and S$1500 (for 2011 weddings). The donation is for wedding services only, and includes permission to hold a small reception with food or drink (at your discretion and cost) after the ceremony on the Church grounds. The donation does not include catering, tentage, florist, microphone, sound system, etc., all of which you will need to arrange separately. We welcome all Christian denominations, but do not have a resident priest/pastor to conduct the ceremony; you will therefore need to procure the priest on your own.
The Church is open daily from 9am to 6pm, so feel free to visit the grounds at any time during opening hours. Note that we do not make tentative bookings – dates will be confirmed only upon receipt of the donation in full.
